Vijay in velayudam Actor Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Genelia starrer 'Velayutham', is presently shooting at the scenic locations of Kashmir. The director has a first choice of shooting the song in Switzerland, but later changed his mind to shoot it in the 'Paradise on Earth', Kashmir.

The change in decision has come out as a result of the perfect climatic conditions prevailing in Kashmir. The crew had left for Srinagar on Saturday. As of now, the talkie portions of the movie has been completed and ds song s der to complete.

Vijay in velayudam produced by Aascar Ravichandran is slated for Diwali release on October 26. Speaking about the film, director raja said, ' it is a mass movie with everything for Vijay fans, It would be a racy entertainer and is sure to rock the screens'.

The major event related to Velayutham which recently took place in Madurai was its audio launch. Music scored by Vijay Antony has pleased Vijay's fans and two tracks have already become super hits.

Vijay in velayudam One of the highlights of the upcoming film ‘Velayudham’ starring Vijay, Hansika and Genelia is a sequence involving over one lakh persons which was shot in a grand manner by ‘Jayam’ Raja. The film is awaited with great interest by Vijay’s fans who are hoping their star would repeat the success of his latest film ‘Kavalan’ which released early this year.

The film has music by Vijay Antony and is produced by Ravichandran’s Ascar Films. Raja assures that the film has been made keeping in view Vijay’s trusted audience (women and children). The film is hitting the screens on Deepavali eve next month.

Likewise, both Genelia and Hansika have been given equal footage; I should also admit that both have rendered their utmost cooperation. Vijay Antony has worked hard to better his tunes which were appreciated in Vettaikkaran, his last film with Vijay. I’m told that the sale of the audio CDs and cassettes of the film has been doing fine.

Without bothering to ask me in detail as to why I needed so many people, he simply arranged for the same that too in Kerala and not in Tamil Nadu. The film has been widely shot in various parts of the country with just a song sequence remaining to be canned in the scenic locales of the Kashmir Valley,” he concluded.

‘Ascar’ Ravichandran has been waitng for the completion of Vijay’s next flick Velayudham. He is looking at the film to release two of his films which are ready for long time.
Vijay in velayudam Producer Ravichandran has completed ‘Leelai’ and ‘Moscowin Kaaviri’ but hasn’t been able to release them due to some inexplicable problem. These films are said to be lying in cold storage for the past one year or so. Queries with the producers’ aides revealed that he was looking for the ‘opportune’ moment to sneak in his films just prior to the release of a ‘big’ film – a Vijay or Ajith-starrer.
Vijay in velayudam Prior to starting ‘Dasavathaaram’ with Kamal Haasan, Ravichandran had reportedly given some amount as ‘advance’ to Vijay to start a film. Now, he has launched the film ‘Velayudham’ with Vijay in the lead. Even as the film’s shooting begins soon, it would take at least 5-6 months for the producer to complete the film and its post-production work.
