A very old saying but it always comes true in the life of
everyone. 'A hard time doesn't last for ever'! Yes this has come true in
Vijay's career. For the last couple of years Vijay is facing tough time with
continuous speed breakers hitting his career. Now, Vijay is all set to hit with
good films and has proved this with his latest release Kaavalan. Vijay has been
roped in Shankar's 'Nanban' Tamil version for the role of Aamir Khan. Vijay's
upcoming flick 'Velayutham' is also progressing briskly.
Now the latest buzz is that Director Maniratnam has roped in
Vijay to play the role of historic Vanthiya Thevan in his upcoming flick
'Ponniyin Selvan' . This movie is based on Kalki's mega novel which was a
sensation since 190s.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay has completed almost 90% of the shoot
for his upcoming movie Velayudham directed by Raja and is now busy shooting for
Nanban,directed by Shankar. Recently Raja cameup with an special interview
wherein he shared some important highlights about Velayudham.
The movie has a basic theme as to how a normal man with some
social kindness and responsibility becomes head of the nation/society and what
are the problems that he comes across and how he handles it forms the critset
of the movie.
The movie is produced by Aascar Ravichandran and is shot in
both village and city & vijay plays the role of milkman in a village.
Genelia and Hansika plays the fe leads in the movie. There are 2 new stars from
bollywood who would be doing the role of baddie in the movie where Santhanam
takes care of the comedy part.
Recently
there was a huge set erected at a big cost of 1. crore for a marriage scene,
where in the entire village was decorated grandly and this kind of art
work,would be a never seen before one in any of previous Vijay films and in
tamil cinema as well.
