Very happy about the grand opening witnessed by Vettaikkaran, our Ilathalapathy Vijay called on Sun TV Network

chairman and managing director Kalanithi Maran, who had released the

movie, in Chennai on Tuesday.

The actor thanked Mr.Kalanithi Maran during the meeting

that took place at the latter s office for non-stop promotional

activities due to which the film has become a super hit all over the

world in just three days after its release.

Vijay was accompanied by his father and filmmaker S

A Chandrasekaran. They presented a bouquet and a shawl to Kalanithi

Maran. Sun Pictures chief operations officer Hansraj Saxena was also

present during the meeting.

Vettaikkaran received a grand opening only due to

promotions made by Sun Pictures. I am happy about the outcome & its the biggest ever opening for me in my carrer and Hence I

wanted to thank Kalanithi Maran, who is instrumental behind the film s

success, said Vijay.
