released on Pongal next year. Vijay has now taken a break from

Velayudham's shooting and has flown into Bay Area in

California today to spend a week with fans and also enjoy a much

deserved vacation.

Vijay fans in the area have made elaborate

plans to have a good time with the star. There will be a ‘Vijay

Unplugged’ Musical Nite on December 16th and Ilaya Thalapathi will be

the guest of honor.

So its time for fans of Vijay in US to spend a day with their star now.

Vijay - Nagapatinam visit on feb 22

There has been a lot of  regarding Vijay's foray in to politics. However Vijay has made up his mind to concentrate on movies for the time being. Amidst all these, ‘Ilaya Thalapathi’ Vijay will visit the coastal town of Nagapattinam on February 22 to lead a protest demonstration to condemn the mid-sea killings of Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy.

Vijay, during the protest, would be raising his voice against mid-sea killings of Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy. However tt is also being seen as a prelude to read the public pulse for his “concern” for the cause of Tamils and poor fishermen, sources said.

Our Ilayathalapathy Vijay's fan clubs in the Delta districts are now busy mobilizing crowds for the demonstration, in which his father and director S.A. Chandrasekar will also take part. “We are expecting nearly 1 lakh fans from across the state. Vijay will also be visiting the families of the fishermen who were killed,” said Raja, president of Tiruchy district Vijay Fans’ Club.
