He is patient and does not talk much, but his films do and he makes the audiences flock to the theatres.

His films take a great opening and work purely on his star charisma and larger-than-life image.

He had ups and downs like other people, but his fans have never left him down.

He is the survival of the fittest and is none other than Ilayathalapathy Vijay who celebrated his birthday on June 22.

The star celebrated his birthday by doing a lot of social and charity work as he does everytime. Vijay had always lead his fans from the front, by doing many social activities, encouraging the youngsters to be more responsible towards their fellow beings and the society. This time, he urged his fans to donate their eyes, a big eye donation camp is being was held by his fan clubs and the star himself had attended over making all his fans and the public happy.

Many of his fans had arranged camps for helping the poor and needy at different places all over tamilnadu and even at other places too.

Online Vijay Fans, have again made it this time, as they do everytime, by donating provisionaries to an orphanage called " Child  " and even the orphanage people have expressed their gratitude towards Vijay and his fans for helping them at regular times. Its also a nice time to recall that, our online fans are also contributing towards education of a little angel Priyanka, who stays at alwarpet, chennai.

Meanwhile shooting of his Nanban is getting over by middle of July. At the same time Vijay's Velayudham is gearing up for a big release in August. The audio of the film will be launched in the first week of July.
