Ilathalapathy  is playing the lead role in a movie titled \'MGR\', directed by Perarasu. Hold your horses and don\'t jump to conclusions. This is a film within a film.

\'s dad S. A. Chandrasekhar is directing a film called \'Pandhayam\' with Nithin Sathya donning the lead role.  will be playing himself in the film as a guest performer. Since he plays himself, he will be depicted as though he is shooting for a film under the direction of Perarasu. And that film\'s title is \'MGR\'.

The scene was shot in Chennai recently. Nithin Sathya, the hero of \'Pandhayam\' plays a die-hard  fan in the film and so goes to see  shooting for a movie. Prakash Raj and Sindhu Thulani also are in the cast.  Anthony has scored the music.

It may be recalled that  had earlier acted in a guest role in S A Chandrasekhar\'s \'Sukkran\'.

The stadium was packed with more than 0000 fans going wild with joy on seeing .  requested the police not to beat up any of his fans.The spot light was on  who made it a interactive session by asking 20 of his fans to come on stage and ask any kind of question they wished to ask .  also donated free computers, cycle,sewing machines, to many poor and needy people, gold medals to top ranking students and the bottom message to all was that studies should be given more prority and people should study and work in India rather than going to foreign countries.

Then  finall sang Ellapugazhum song and said that Vettaikaran is almost over and the movie is all set to be released this Diwali.
