VIJAY VELAYUDAM CREW MOVES TO KASHMIR
VIJAY VELAYUDAM : Actor Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Genelia starrer 'Velayutham', is presently shooting at the scenic locations of Kashmir. The director has a first choice of shooting the song in Switzerland, but later changed his mind to shoot it in the 'Paradise on Earth', Kashmir.
VIJAY VELAYUDAM : The change in decision has come out as a result of the perfect climatic conditions prevailing in Kashmir. The crew had left for Srinagar on Saturday. As of now, the talkie portions of the movie has been completed and ds song s der to complete.
VIJAY VELAYUDAM : Velayudham produced by Aascar Ravichandran is slated for Diwali release on October 26. Speaking about the film, director raja said, ' it is a mass movie with everything for Vijay fans, It would be a racy entertainer and is sure to rock the screens'.
VIJAY VELAYUDAM : The major event related to Velayutham which recently took place in Madurai was its audio launch. Music scored by Vijay Antony has pleased Vijay's fans and two tracks have already become super hits.

Velayudham
will be a milestone film for Vijay, vouches its producer Aascar
Ravichandran.The movie which stars Vijay, Genelia and Hansika Motwani in
the lead, is being directed by Jayam Raja.The first schedule of the
movie took place at Hyderabad's place at Hyderabad's Golconda Fort
where few high action scenes with Vijay were canned. Talking about the
film Ravi says, "Like how Baasha was a turning point in Rajini's film
career, Velayudham will weave a similar magic for Vijay." Sources say
there are no over-the-top punch lines for Vijay although the stunts are
designed at par with Hollywood standards. While Genelia plays a
reporter, Hansika as the village belle romances Vijay. The second schedule is planned in Pollachi in the month end for about 40 days where the village portions are to be shot.Vijay is presently in the final leg of his shooting for his under production flick Kaavalan where he is paired with Asin.

1) Vijay fans are waiting eagerly for Velayutham. Many of them have ordered fire crackers and waiting eagerly to do the first day milk pooja for Vijay. What can you say for them?
VIJAY NEWS : Ilayathalapathy Vijay has did an action rampage festival in Velayutham. It's worth a wait.
2) What is your opinion about making a film with Vijay?
VIJAY NEWS : Before 2 years, I met Vijay. He just asked me openly that, "You are always making films with your own brother and giving super hits. Won't you do a film with me?". I was so delighted to hear those words from his mouth and I narrated the story of Velayutham, in which the way i wanted to see Vijay in the silver screen as. At that time there was no political buzz surrounded Vijay.
3) Is there any dialouges in Velayutham to show Vijay as a politician?
VIJAY NEWS : In talking about Vijay movies, his fans always go to the theater to see their star's face in the silver screen only. If Vijay is with 500 fans in a spot, He will always pay attention to his fans and love to take photographs with all of them patiently. In Velayutham there is a dialogue, where Vijay says 'En Rasigargalukku onnu na naan aayutham ah maariduven".
4) Who is more responsible for a film's failure? Is it the story of the film or the hero?
VIJAY NEWS : The story is the first reason. Then comes the producer of the film. In my opinion, a brave director means, a person who fixes the hero in mind, for whom he is writing the script and makes a perfect story that suits him.
5) Did Velayutham gave the confidence that, it will break all the expectations while producing itself?
VIJAY NEWS : There are producers like Aascar Ravichandran, who won't even think about backing off or be scared to invest money to produce a big sum film like Velayutham for a mass hero like Vijay, who has a huge fan base.

Velayudham is a fast developing movie directed by Raja who is famous for delivering hits in Tamil. Velayudham will have Vijay, Genelia D' Souza and Hansika Motwani in lead roles. Unlike Raja's earlier movies, this will be an original script and not a remake.
Raja is upbeat about this movie and has completed a lot of portions of the movie already. When asked, he said that Velayudham is a one of a kind movie and will definitely a milestone in Vijay's career.
Velayudham will have music by Vijay Anthony and is produced by Aascar Ravichandran. It is expected to be released in early summer of 2011.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay has almost completed the shoot of his 51st filmKaavalan(remake of Malayalam hitBodyguard) directed by Siddique.
Vijay has already started working for his next film Velayudham directed by Jayam Raja. Vijay Anthony is expected to compose the music; it will be produced by Aascar Ravichandran. Bubbly Genelia and Hansika Motwani are the heroines.
Genelia D'Souza will play the role of a journalist, while Hansika Motwani will be a village belle. Santhanam and Sathyan take care of the humour element. Velayudham will grace theatres in summer 2011.

After completing Kaavalan, Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently busy with Jayam Raja's Velayutham, produced by Aascar Ravichandran. Genelia and Hansika Motwani play the female leads.
Meanwhile director Raja has confirmed to Galatta.com that Velayutham will be an out-an-out commercial entertainer which will be a treat for audiences. He also revealed that the film is shaping up well.
Interesting, this is Jayam Raja's first original script!
VIJAY VELAYUDAM Hollywood Style Stunt Sequences in Velayudham
The hair-raising train fight sequence in Shankar's Enthiran turned out to be a huge hit. The sequence was shot near Pune and it was said that Superstar Rajinikanth performed the high action scenes without a body double under Peter Hein's guidance. And now, it looks like actor Vijay is following suit. Director Jayam Raja has planned a train fight scene for his upcoming film Velayudham. The scenes are being canned in Vizag and are said to be one of the highlights of the film. The film's producer Aascar Ravichandran, who enjoys a warm rela tionship with Jackie Chan, is reported to have roped in 60 of the Hollywood actor's stuntmen for this action scene.
"I want to make it the most happening fight scene in the recent times. When I contacted Jackie Chan, he was only too happy to guide me in enlisting the right kind stuntmen. The top-of-the train action sequence has been scheduled for 10 days," reveals Ravi. Vijay will fight with the baddies, played by Bollywood actors, and it will be a very realistic stunt, he adds. "You will see Vijay in a new dimension and Velayudham will take the actor to a new level in his career," asserts Ravichandran.
