Vijay news Following ‘Kaavalan’ and ‘Velayudham’, Vijay has been discussing few scripts with ‘Kalavani’ fame Sargunam, director Lingusamy, Vikram Kumar, Seeman and Shankar (3 Idiots remake). Now we hear that the actor has been approached by debutant Ajith, who shares a long time association with maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma.
It seems that the actor has been approached Ajith for a bilingual film. According to the sources, the Hindi version will have either Akshay Khanna or Madhavan in lead roles. ‘Nadodigal’ Ananya, who recently made high waves with her performance in ‘Shikar’, has been signed for female lead role.
Since Vijay is busy with many projects, it’s sure that another year may take for the actor to kick-start the shooting.
Or else Vijay may prefer watching the Hindi version first and then approve for the remake. In fact, he loves this pretty style as it happened with ‘Bodyguard’.

Vijay news Many years back Shankar started his career in films as an assistant to SA Chandrasekhar, and turned independent director with Gentleman. The Kollywood grapevine has it that Shankar and SAC had a spat and as they went their separate ways.20 years later Shankar is going to work with SAC’s son, Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the 3 Idiots remake produced by Gemini Film Circuit. Many producers have been trying to bring Shankar and Vijay together in the past but failed.Now coming together of Shankar with Vijay, especially after the director’s triumph with Enthiran has created a big buzz about 3 Idiots remake. The film has now become one of the biggest projects, which has become hot in the market.Shankar has asked Vijay for bulk dates, as he likes his shoot his films at a leisurely pace in an unhurried manner. As per sources Shankar would like to start the film in December, by which time he will finalise on the reworked script and rest of the cast. Ideally, Shankar wants to release the film by 2011 Diwali, and prove that he can make a film under a year.Vijay is gung-ho about the project, as it will surely take him to a new level. The actor will be completing his Kaavalan by October end and then moving on to Velayudham. He wants to complete both these films before starting work on 3 Idiots remake, for which Shankar will be giving him an all new look.

Vijay news Vijay has surpassed Rajinikanth's record! How?? Now it is official. He has the highest number of fans in the auto rickshaw owners/drivers. Remember when Baasha was released in 1995, with Rajini as an auto rickshaw driver? In 1995, after Baasha's release, one in every 10 auto rickshaws had Rajinikanth's banner or art on it. The number of Auto Rickshaw's in Tamil Nadu at that time was around 55, 000 and around 5500 auto rickshaws had Rajinikanth's face on them.[©vijaysfan]This was a hot topic in many magazines in 1995.
