Vijay latest news Over the past couple of months, it has been a never-ending news about Manirathnam’s upcoming movie ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ that is based on the novel with the same name authored by veteran writer Kalki. The bilingual movie starring Vijay, Arya and Mahesh Babu in lead roles will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
There were lots of speculations that A.R. Rahman might not work with Manirathnam as he is occupied with more Hindi and International projects. Additionally, there were some stories published in leading newspapers that Maestro Ilayaraja and Manirathnam will work together for this historical project.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay too was shooting on an adjoining set action scenes for his Velayudham.

STR and Jai were shooting some deadly action scenes using seven cameras and 60 stuntmen. Suddenly STR realized it was Jai birthday and wanted to cut a cake.
