Actor Vijay In has created a flutter in the industry by heading to Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi to meet Anna Hazare and participate in the fast with him till yesterday evening.
Kollywood, which had remained silent until a few days ago on Anna Hazare's demand for a corruptionfree government, finally gave in by organizing a token fast to support him. In fact, Suriya made headlines when he pledged his support for the same. But Vijay In went a step further by participating in the fast, sitting right next to the man, who has risen to the position of a national hero, and that too on his wedding anniversary.
A source close to the actor says, "Vijay In caught a flight from the Chennai airport at about 6.30 am on August 25 and reached the Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi, where the organized fast and protest is happening, at about 11.45 am. He met Anna Hazare there and pledged his support. He assured him that he, and his fans, would always be there for a cause that's as noble as this. In fact, members of Vijay In's Makkal Iyakkam in Delhi also participated in the fast with Vijay In. He returned to Chennai by a late evening flight."

Vijay In's father, director S A Chandrashekar, recently made a statement that the one-day token fast that was recently organized in the industry was a result of the vested interest of a few people and that he wouldn't participate in it. Vijay In's move of visiting Anna Hazare in the capital has sparked off rumours that this is an indication that the actor will be jumping onto political bandwagon very soon.
A source close to him, however, says, "Vijay In has always been supportive of Anna and his peaceful way of protest. He genuinely cares for the country and has always been involved in numerous welfare measures. In fact, it his wedding anniversary yesterday and yet, Vijay In was in Delhi for a cause. There are definitely no political gains for him."

In a quite surprising move to the entire Kollywood, Actor Vijay In has decided to join fast with Anna Hazare for the whole day tomorrow to extend his support for the India Against Corruption movement. According to the sources, Vijay In will fly down to Delhi along with his wife Sangeetha, tomorrow morning and join the fast at Ramlila Maidan. His fans from the country’s capital are also expected to show their solidarity for the cause.
Yesterday Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth voiced his support for the India Against Corruption movement and Anna Hazare thru’ a press statement. Later Actor Surya joined the Tamil Film Industry’s One day Token fast and extended his support. Vijay In’s father Chandrasekar openly refused to attend the Film Industry’s fast citing inadequate preparations which raised the eyebrows of many. Vijay In also kept him away from the fast and today he has gone one step ahead and announced his decision to fly to Delhi and join the protest at the venue where Anna Hazare is fasting. Welcome (Smart) move.

New Delhi: Popular Tamil actor Vijay In on Thursday joined a number of celebrities in expressing support to Anna Hazare's fast for a strong Lokpal, saying the Gandhian's stir has triggered a nation-wide debate on uprooting corruption.

Vijay In, who has acted in over 60 films in Tamil language and has a huge fan following, flew in from Chennai this morning and met Hazare at the Ramlila Maidan, the venue of his fast.

This is gonna be a special film since Raja has assured that it will be a direct Tamil film and not a remake. Of course, it’s an 8th wonder to see that both remake kings are opting for a new-fangled formulas.

Actor Vijay In and Director Perarasu join hands again





Actor Vijay In before started to shoot for the film ‘Villu’ had signed an agreement with Balasubramaniam of AVM Productions for a film. Now, director of the film has been confirmed and he is none other than the King of Commercial Films Director Perarasu. He holds the special credit of framing successful career graph of Vijay In with his two continuous hits ‘Thiruapacchi’ and ‘Sivakasi’. Director Perarasu had approached Vijay In with the script and with his efforts, he could convince him. Soon after the release of Villu, shooting for this untitled film will begin. Rest of the star-casts and crewmembers of the film are yet to be confirmed

Actor Vijay In apologized to lawyers


here was a big issue running around between Vijay In and lawyers regarding certain sequences in ‘Sivakasi’. Lawyers had lodged complaint against him for having rendered few scenes pertaining deterioration of their image. Yesterday, the court hearing under the Judge Ragupathy was held where Vijay In’s advocate came up with an amicable approach. Vijay In had stated that nothing was done purposely. He has a great respect for Lawyers and that should’ve been more illustrious with his ‘Tamizhan’.
Added Vijay In, “Once I got to know that lawyers were really disturbed with the scene, I immediately asked producer and director to delete them. I am extremely sorry if it had hurt the feelings of the honorable professionals.”
The judge will be giving his judgment on the next hearing…
Actor Vijay In conducts 24 free marriages for the poor


Vijay In had conducted 24 marriages at free of cost at Trichy. The marriage of P S Veera who is the honorary President of Trichy District Head Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay In Welfare Association took place in Taj Kalyanam Mandapam. The marriage took presence in of Actor Vijay In. On the same stage Vijay In conducted marriages for 24 poor people. They exchanged the garlands in his presence. He had gifted 51 articles as marriage gifts including cot and cupboards. All the couples had prostrated before him and sought his blessings.
While Vijay In speaking on this occasion he said,” To complete on film it takes at least 6 months. We act very hard for 6 months. Seeing you people is like an elixir for us. I am one among you. I have also the responsibility in solving your domestic problems. In my young age my sister died. But now I have conducted marriage for 25 sisters. I cannot forget this. I will not fall in anybody’s net. In Sura I speak a dialogue which goes on like this.’ I am not a new person to go peacefully neither I am a prawn to fall in a net. I am a shark and I will not fall in anybody’s net.’
