Our trade source in Kollywood insists that Deepika has shown a keen interest in the Murugadoss project. Earlier, it was being suggested that Sonam Kapoor is also one of the girls who has been shortlisted for this project. However, Sonam told CT that she had not received an offer. And at that point, Deepika was ruled out because her dates were committed to Rana.
However, now that there have been some date changes on the Rana front, Deepika may be in a position to do a second Tamil film as well. Who better than Murugadoss to helm the project?

Buzz in Kollywood is that Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra is in the race to
star in Vijay and AR Murugadoss untitled film.
Apart from Priyanka Chopra, other leading Bollywood actresses Deepika
Padukone and Sonam Kapoor too are in the list for the film. It can be noted
here that this would be the second film for Priyanka Chopra opposite Vijay as
they both have come in Thamizhan in the year 2002.
Their on screen chemistry has worked well and by considering this
Murugadoss is in plans to bring the duo together yet again. The filmmakers
are soon going to get in touch with the actress and if everything goes well
Priyanka will be paring Vijay for the second time.
Murugadoss has signed Santhosh Sivan and Harris Jayaraj for
cinematography and music respectively.
The movie is likely to move on floors on the eve of Diwali. Murugadoss is
currently busy finalizing the title and other lead cats for the film.

Nanban vijay Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth starrer Nanban shoot will be completed in the next ten days. This has been confirmed by director Shankar itself in his blog. The team has wrapped up the shoot of the film and is left with only one song which will be completed in the next 10 days.
It is known that the song will be canned on Ilayathalapathy Vijay where more than 50 dancers from various countries will be flying to Chennai this Monday to shake their legs with dancing legend Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The final editing of the film is also under progress and Shankar has asked Harris Jayraj to complete the songs for the audio release. In all aspects the audio is expected to hit the stores mostly in the month of October.
The film is the remake of the 2009 Bollywood blockbuster film 3 Idiots, which was adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. Nanban is also getting dubbed in Telugu.

Nanban vijay the Kingfisher Calendar girl is Vijay’s heroine in his new film to be directed by AR Murgadoss.
Last week, cameraman Sathosh Sivan did a hush-hush photo shoot at a Chennai studio with Angela and Vijay.

This untitled film is produced by Vijay’s dad SAC in association with producer Aascar Ravichandran and is expected to kick start by the end of the September.
