ACTOR  VIJAY  SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL SELECTS KAVALAN

                     Actor  vijay is good news for the ‘Kavalan’ team! The film which definitely marked a turning point in ‘Ilaya Thalapathy's career, continues to make news even now so many days after its release. Well this time around good news comes from the most famous city of China, Shanghai.Director Siddique’s film ‘Kavalan’ has been selected to be screened in Shanghai during the International Film Festival which will be held in the city from June 11th to June 19th.

                     Actor   vijay  Kavalan’ which had Vijay and Asin in the lead was this year’s Pongal release. The film was selected to be screened in the International Film Fest to be held at Shanghai by a board comprising of famous directors which also includes Oscar winner Barry Levinson.

More than 80 countries around the globe will be culminating for this event with more than 2500 films being screened during the event.SIFF has issued an invitation to actor Vijay as guest of honor.                           Actor Vijay known for interest in doing remakes is coming up with a script inspired by a Telugu film Azad, released in the year 2000. The film brings bubbly beauty Genelia and beautiful Hansika as the female leads opposite Vijay. Now the team is going to kick start with the next schedule in Pollachi.

                       Actor  Vijay  Director Jayam Raja is planning big for the climax of Velayutham and it’s going to be outstanding. Aascar International of V. Ravichandran is producing the film. Music is by Vijay Antony.

This movie would be directed by Raja and is to be produced by Aascar Ravichandran, who is joining vijay after Kadaluku Mariathai. The movie would have Genelia and  Hansika Motwani playing the female lead along with Vijay. Rumours are that,Harris Jeyaraj would be the music director, but it has not been confirmed officially. Talks are also going on with Vijay Antony,as he made a great remark with Vettaikaran. The rest of the crew details would be officially confirmed on July 15.
