Vijay Kaavalan gets international recognition at Shanghai

Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay is now the most happiest person to be seen around, as his latest flick KAAVALAN was screened in the Shanghai International Film Festival on  June 20, at 4 : 00 PM .

It was the only Indian film that was selected to be screened in that festival The films was screened with both english and chinese subtitles. Kavalan was screened at Cathay cinema, one of Shanghai's oldest and most popular cinema halls and it was a house full show. Everyone enjoyed the film to a great extent and once the film got over, everyone stood and clapped for Vijay for putting up a nice and emotional performance on screen.

This was then followed by Vijay 's speech, where he added that, It was the first time for him to be a part of international film festival. He also said that, it had given him immense pleasure to thank all the people who all were responsible for the movie to become a good success and also about the screening of the movie with other international films and this has also proven that, a good movie will inspire everyone beyond language, cast etc.

VJ as Vijay is called fondly by everyone there, looked debonair and suave, spoke with a lot of feeling and emotion which was well received by the audience. Vijay was also happy in a way that, Kaavalan got a chance to be screened in China, which is also the  town of famous artist, Jackie Chan who he had admired always by seeing many of his films. Vijay also presented a memento to Shanghai Film Association, on behalf of South Indian Film Association, and expressed his gratitude.

The film was well enjoyed by the audience who surrounded him after the completion of the movie and appreciated him for his neat performance all through the movie. Way to go Vijay Sir.... Keep this coming !!
